The Blessing of Friendship

Last night we had the privilege of having a couple girls from our Church over for dessert. I made a yummy apple crisp and was able to enjoy it today too. :)

Apple Crisp Recipe

Chop six to eight apples and place in baking dish. Sprinkle with 3/4-cup sugar and a little cinnamon.

For the topping, mix 1-cup flour, 3/4-cup sugar, 1-tsp. baking powder and 1/2-tsp. salt. Add one egg and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Pour 1/3-cup salad oil over all and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in 350 degree over for 45 minutes to an hour.

  2. Oh how I miss having the girls over! Please pray for me to learn Portuguese so I can actually communicate with people here and build friendships. Sounds like a great recipe!

  3. Oh, that looks just scrumptious!! It makes me wish we were heading into fall instead of summer. I'm going to have to try that recipe!
